MySabre, based on patented Sabre technology and fortified with Yahoo!®, is a Web-based agent booking portal that integrates all the travel information you need – including the Sabre® global distribution system – right from your desktop. This intelligent capability delivers relevant content within your workflow, and generates additional revenue and new merchant sales opportunities through interactive offers. It’s ideal for Sabre Connected agents working in a flexible workflow environment either in an office or remotely.

FEATURES
At the heart of MySabre is its ability to intelligently integrate your traditional Sabre® system booking tools with Web fares, other Sabre Travel Network booking tools and deeper localized content. The Sabre system is built into the portal so you never have to switch back and forth between booking tools, travel content and the Internet. Everything is located together right from your desktop.

MySabre reads the specific activities you are performing in the Sabre system and responds accordingly. It delivers relevant content at the right time to enhance the sales process. And it makes your job easier so you can provide faster service to more customers.
With its speed, reliability, ease of use and intelligent integration features, MySabre surpasses all other travel agency desktop solutions in the marketplace. It includes the following directly from your desktop:

  • Access the Sabre system and its content from GoDo.
  • Use the Sabre system with Point and Click to increase your productivity instead of typing formats which can be difficult to remember. Available for air, fares, Passenger Name Records (PNR), queues, cars, hotels, calendars and quickly and easily add Other Service Information (OSI), Special Service Request (SSR), meals, special assistance and frequent flyer miles. Or if you prefer, use the Sabre system with formats. Either way, you select what works best for you.
  • Use pre-populated information to enhance sales consultations.
  • Quickly access other helpful information, such as Agency eServices, travel alert messages, currency converter, destination details, Format FinderSM online help system graphical Sabre® PromoSpotsSM, hotel maps and photos, weather and more!
  • Graphical hotels with photos and property information that you can show your customer/s.

ACCESS
For Sabre Connected agencies: MySabre can be downloaded from the Web at https://my.sabre.com When you download MySabre, it will automatically run a system check to ensure you have all the necessary components. If there are any missing components, it will then automatically load them for you. For additional information, please contact your Sabre Pacific Account Manager.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Architecture and Platform Requirements
MySabre is certified for performance on Microsoft OS platforms. To ensure reliability, it features a Java™-based desktop solution that works separately from other operating systems.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
To print from MySabre, you must have a Windows® platform and equal numbers of serial ports to Sabre system printers. Minimum hardware requirements include:

  • 500 MHz processor or higher
  • 128 MB RAM (128 MB or higher recommended)
  • 1024 x 768/16-bit (High Color) video resolution
  • 256MB RAM minimum on computers running Sabre Print Module
  • 17 inch monitor or higher recommended
  • 100 MB of free disk space

NETWORK REQUIREMENTS
Minimum connectivity requirements include one of the following:

Public Connection – customer supplied Internet connection

  • 56K Analog Dial-up (Not recommended)
  • DSL/Cable
  • ISDN

Note: Ports 443 & 80 are required for MySabre

Private Connection – Sabre Travel Network supplied dedicated connection

  • Legacy Frame Relay
  • Managed Network Services (Frame or DSL)
  • Vendor Access Room connections

Note: Ports 443, 80, 30031, 30032, 30051 are required for MySabre

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
MySabre uses Sun Microsystems® Java™ Runtime Environment version:

  • Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4.2 06

PRICING
MySabre agent booking portal is free to all Sabre Connected agents. Pricing will remain the same for those additional Sabre Travel Network features and products for which you are currently charged.
